Our busy real estate office seeks a motivated, energetic Rental Agent to help clients find their perfect home!

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property managers, and prospective tenants
• Respond promptly to rental inquiries and efficiently match clients with available properties
• Schedule and conduct property showings
• Assist clients through the application and leasing process
• Negotiate lease terms and successfully close rental transactions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available inventory and market trends
• Provide an outstanding, service-first client experience at every touchpoint

Requirements: • Active Real Estate License (or ability to obtain one quickly)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using real estate tools (MLS, CRM databases, mobile apps)
• Available for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation: • Commission-based: $36,000 to $60,000+ potential, depending on performance

Responsibilities:
• Follow up daily with all incoming rental leads through phone, email, and CRM systems
• Promptly answer incoming calls, emails, and text inquiries from clients and landlords
• Schedule and conduct property tours , maintaining a professional and service-oriented demeanor
• Communicate effectively and clearly with landlords, property managers, and listing agents
• Advertise available properties through the MLS, social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels
• Present properties and amenities in a positive, compelling way to prospective tenants
• Determine prospective clients’ needs, preferences, and budget , and match them to suitable rental properties
• Assist clients with rental applications , verifying documentation and confirming references
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions in a professional manner to secure successful transactions
• Process rental paperwork efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Stay knowledgeable about local rental market trends, available inventory, pricing, and competition
• Uphold company standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service at all times
• Promote management services to prospective clients, highlighting residential and commercial property management opportunities
• Maintain organized records of client communications, showing activities, and lease statuses
• Approach each day with a proactive mindset, positive attitude, and unwavering enthusiasm for helping people find their next home
Qualifications:
• Active Real Estate License (Required)
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and excited about helping people find their next home
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor
• Ability to build rapport quickly with clients, landlords, and vendors
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and real estate software tools (MLS platforms, CRM systems)
• Comfortable handling high call volumes and scheduling multiple appointments efficiently
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule , including evenings and weekends
• Self-motivated , results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced , commission-based environment
• Basic understanding of rental/leasing practices and the property market
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to guide clients confidently through the rental process
• Team player who collaborates well but can also work independently with minimal supervision • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to providing an outstanding client experience
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in paperwork, communications, and follow-ups
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
Additional Qualifications That Would Make You the Perfect Match: • Previous experience as a Rental Agent, Leasing Consultant, or Property Manager Assistant • Working knowledge of local rental markets and fair housing regulations • Experience using CRM databases and lead management platforms
• Fluent in a second language (Russian, Spanish, French highly preferred)
• Passion for long-term career growth in real estate — open to expanding into sales, leasing management, or property management
• Strong follow-up discipline and commitment to nurturing leads until closed
• Positive, "solution-oriented" mindset even when handling client concerns or challenges
