Job Title/Location:

• Manufacturing Engineering SUMMER Intern - Santa Ana, CA.

Description:

We are looking for practical, hands-on engineers, that can think creatively to solve problems, and self-starter to assist our team develop and improve our processes & systems in the Manufacturing Engineering departments.

Experience:

• Experience working in any industry highly preferred.

Education:

• Students who are in Junior and Senior status working towards a bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Skills / Certifications:

• Great work ethic.
• Strong motivation to learn.
• Excellent task and time management skills.
• Able to process information quickly and accurately.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Physical and Environmental Elements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud. Also, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to listen. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
